Taking Care of Extended Family

The funeral of the late American President George H W Bush brought tears to our eyes., watching Sully his dog in attendance at his funeral. As a nation of dog lovers and as such ourselves, we feel it is ok if you have a family member of the four legged kind that needs to attend the funeral. Naturally some cemetery's and other venues have their own rules about animal presence but we will be happy to ask the questions and try to organise this for you. We at Cope & Bryan are of the opinion that the animals sense loss and grieve too.

Dear Ladies

Thank-you. Whilst our loss leaves us with a huge void in our lives that we still don't know how we will fill. The way you took the burden of arranging and having to drag our selves out in a traditional way to forcibly say goodbye on what would probably have been a dreary grey day. We know you looked afterfor our angel in a caring and beautiful way with the questions you asked us and the way you treated us. Thank you, Thank you. We wanted you to know the dreary day was replaced with us taking an overnighter to a place where we had so many laughs and we knew she loved to go with the dog, The Lakes. So off we went, Me, mum, nana, my brother and the dog. We took her Ashes with us (we didn't sprinkle them, we want to keep them .... maybe one day). There were some tears from Nana, she has never been without her mum before, she missed her but we were soon able to laugh and cheer her up with things that had happened in previous visits recalling different bits of conversations NanNan had had with us right from me being tiny.... inducing generations of memories and laughs and ohhh what a fabulous way to close her chapter, with Fish and Chips and a shandy. Thank you

So much for the suggestion.
